The BIG NEWS this week is that romantic Neptune goes direct after a 5-month retrograde…AND that we have a glorious New Moon Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius at week’s end—the final one in the Gemini-Sagittarius axis that started in June 2020!
Neptune Retrograde Ends on 12/1:
On Wednesday, dreamy Neptune finally stations direct in the sky, after a 5-month retrograde. Neptune rules regeneration, healing, rest, and our imagination…but also struggles with solid boundaries and facts/details. So when this sleepy planet’s annual retrograde ends, it won’t necessarily mean the same “get up and go” vibes that we feel when, say, Mercury or Mars finally go direct. Instead, our abilities to process our emotions, tap into our intuition, and reach for our creative potentials will be enhanced—but we must stay hyper-vigilant that we don’t regress into denial or alternate realities. We will have to fight to stay grounded.

New Moons are times of starting new phases in our lives, though depending on what else is going on with the other planets, events might be jarring or glittery gold. This particular New Moon happens to have AMAZING aspects associated with it! All the other planets are playing nicely with each other—which is fantastic, because this particular New Moon ALSO happens to be an Eclipse, and thus, three times the normal strength!
When we have a New Moon, it’s usually the time in our monthly cycle to envision what we desire to create in our lives and start planting those seeds in the coming two weeks. However, because this New Moon is an Eclipse, we should wait a few days before starting to initiate actions. See, Eclipses usually present US with new information and events that we have to respond to. So, it appears something big IS brewing, but for THIS week, we shouldn’t be the ones to initiate: we can dream and vision board, but we should wait to ACT until NEXT week.
